Two months from now, the people of United States have to choose between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama as to who would become their President in Nov 2012.

The choice will come down to the person, who can create the much needed jobs to eradicate the unemployment problem, tackle the financial situation and bring the country out of the financial mess which Obama had inherited from the previous regime. [Too many problems (incl recession & job losses) created by Bush are unnecessarily being attributed to Barack Obama.]They will have to make a choice between ‘Govt. of the rich, by the rich for the rich’  as propagated by Romney & Paul Ryan – on one hand AND  – a Government for upliftment of the masses as proposed by Obama – on the other. Rhinebeck, New York.   William Jefferson Clinton, Ex President U.S.A., walked his daughter Chelsea down the aisle and  looked  full of confidence even though he might be holding back a tear or two. Chelsea Clinton married her long time friend and beau Marc Mezvinsky amidst a veil of secrecy in the small village of Rhineback. 

Shortly before 11 pm, the Clintons got down from a van outside the Beekman Arms Hotel. The former first lady, in a long, green dress, waved to the cheering crowd waiting behind metal barricades outside and quickly went into the hotel.

Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton later announced in a statement that their daughter wed investment banker Marc Mezvinsky at a Beaux Arts riverside estate called Astor Courts.  (more…)

At 1930 IST August 5th, the news that Bill Clinton had secured the release of two journalists kept in custody in North Korea, broke out  on all TV Channels across the country. It was Clinton’s sheer grit and determination that got their release.

Bill Clinton on Wednesday secured the release of two female American journalists held in North Korea for five months after the country’s top leader Kim Jong Il granted a “special pardon” to them following a surprise diplomatic mission by the former US President.  Clinton who spoke with the North  Korean Kim Jong II for three and a half hours.  North Korea  pardoned  Ling, 32, and Lee, 36, after Clinton helped secure their release during a  trip to Pyongyang.
