Delhi Dare devils beat Kings Punjab XI.

 Gautam Gambhir made a captain’s knock of 72 as Delhi Daredevils snatched a five-wicket victory over Kings XI Punjab in a live-wire encounter on Saturday.  Delhi restricted KIngs XI Punjab to 142 for nine and overhauled the target with just one ball to spare at the floodlit PCA Stadium,Mohali.

Delhi Daredevils beat Kings XI Punjab by 5 wickets at the Mohali Cricket Stadium. Batting first the Kings XI Pb scored a modest total of 142.Ravi Bopara with 56 and Kumara Sangakara 17 were the main contributors for Kings XI Punjab’s total of 142 in 20 overs.

 The Delhi Daredevils bowled well and Dirk Nannes took 2 for 12 runs and Farvez Mahroof took 2 wickets for 37.

Gautam Gambhir, (who is also the darling of India XI) top scored with a quickfire 72 and later got out to a lazy shot off a full-toss ball which he could not connect properly due to cramps in his left leg and was caught. He helped Delhi Daredevils win the match by 5 wickets against Kings XI Pb. Dinesh Kartik contributed with 20 runs and Mithun Manhas was not out at 31.

For the Kings XI Pb Sreesaath took 2 wickets for 24 runs, Irfan Pathan 1 for 27 and Yusaf Abdullah 1 for 30 runs. an Premier League match on Saturday. Mumbai Indians. 1st Innings 212/6 in 20.0 Overs Run Rate: 10.6 Rajasthan Royals 2nd Innings 208/7 in 20.0 Overs Run Rate: 10.4 Delhi Daredevils beat Kings XI Punjab by 5 wickets at the Mohali Cricket Stadium.

Yusuf Pathan’s hurricane century went in vain as Rajasthan Royals went down by four runs to Mumbai Indians in a thrilling Indian Premier League match on Saturday.
